About This
- [High-Quality KDF Filter] KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) filters, via redox reactions and catalytic processes, converts harmful substances in water into harmless compounds. It also removes residual chlorine, improving the taste and odor of the water, providing clear and refreshing drinking water.
- [Optimal Filtration Efficiency] SimPure's GAC/KDF filters use an optimal blend of coconut shell activated carbon granules and high-purity copper-zinc alloys as the primary filtering materials. This ensures maximum removal of iron, lead, mercury, residual chlorine, and odors.
- [Longer Lifespan] To achieve optimum performance, we suggest replacing the KDF water filter cartridge every 6-12 months depending on your water quality. For best results and to extend product lifespan, we recommend a water pressure of 25-90 psi and a temperature range of 41-100°F.
- [Note] The filter is not fully filled to ensure optimal filter performance. This prevents pressure drop and maintains efficient water flow through the media. Additionally, this filter is not designed for media replacement.
- [Universal Size] In addition to being the original replacement filter for SimPure DB10C-2KDF, DB10P, and DB10C housings, it is also compatible with most 10x4.5 inch whole house water filters and housings including but not limited to GE GXWH35F, GXWH40L, HB18B, WGB21B, American Plumber W15-PR, W10-PR, AP801T, AP801B, and HF45 series.
